Motorola Xoom

As you probably know motorola has just unveiled its soon to be released Xoom tablet.

The Motorola Xoom has a large 10.1 inch screen, uses the Android 3.0 for the tablet and can even use the Verizon's 4G LTE network.

Supposedly the Xoom will be on the market sometime in the beginning of 2011, but im sure there's going to be some problems there as early models where capable only of running simple games!

The Ipad is much the same as the Xoom in terms of size and weight, with the only significant difference being the border around the screen being alot smaller on the Motorola Xoom. You can hook it up to an external monitor using the HDMI output and have 1080 video playback, the screen on the device has a 1280x800 resolution. Motorola promises the battery will last for at least ten hours when in constant use. The 1GHz 2 duel-core processor with a one gig of ram powers the Xoom. The device uses two cameras, one positioned on the side on one on the back, the side cam is 2 megapixel and the back is 5 megapixel which can also shoot 720HD video. The Xoom has a 32 gig memory that can be increased using an SD card, Adobe Flash can also be used. From what Ive seen so far the Xoom runs smoothly and has some great applications, so long as there's no bugs or other such problems im sure this tablet will be a success.
